AlimenteCurate is an application that provides detailed descriptions of food additives, offering users valuable insight into the products they purchase and consume. It serves as a reliable resource for identifying which E-numbers may pose risks and which are considered safe. The app features an up-to-date dictionary of food additives that can be accessed offline after installation, ensuring convenience for users without continuous internet access.

Additionally, for a fee, users can utilize the app's scanning feature to analyze ingredients on food labels using their phone's camera. This functionality reveals the specific additives present in a product, regardless of whether they are labeled with an E-number or another name (for example, E124, a hazardous coloring agent, may be listed under various designations such as Ponceau 4R, Red cochineal A, Red C17, FD-C red no 4, or Coccine now).

The app categorizes additives using a color-coded system for quick identification of their safety:

• Green indicates a harmless food additive;
• Red signifies a dangerous food additive;
• Yellow represents a suspect additive, which lacks sufficient information regarding its effects on human health or cannot be categorized due to potential risks.
